Palma Elsie Morrison

DARBY – Palma Elsie Morrison, 94, of the West Fork, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Marcus Day Hospice Center.  She was born April 29, 1922 in Baker, OR the daughter of Alphons and Leontine Huys.  Palma married Wilbur Morrison in 1940 at St. Francis Cathedral in Baker, OR.

She was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Darby and the Darby Library Committee.  Palma was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; and her daughter, Rita C. Gibbs.  She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Keller and husband Donald of Alturas, CA; daughter, Priscilla Hopkins and husband William of LaGrande, OR; son, Wilbur Morrison, JR of Darby; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Darby with burial to follow at Lone Pine Cemetery.  There will be a reception following the committal service at the church.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
