Patricia L. Krasovich

March 26, 1945 — June 7, 2010

HAMILTON - Patricia Lee Shipman Krasovich entered into rest with the Lord our Savior on June 7, 2010. She was born in Casper, WY on March 26, 1945 to Gordon and Arlene (Gunderson) Shipman.

Patti graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper in 1963. At the age of 18 she attended Stewart's School of Hairstyling in Sioux Falls, SD, where she obtained a beauty license. She later attended Casper College's business school. In 1966, she married Fred Nicklos Maus and together they had a son, Dennis Nicklos on August 5, 1968. Patti was widowed when Dennis was 2 months old, and she later married Edward Krasovich in 1968. Together they had 3 children, Angela Lynn, Jerome David, and Kevin Alan.

Patti and Ed owned and managed the El Rancho Motel in Cody, WY while developing a neighboring parcel into the El Rancho Campground and Trailer Park. In 1978 they relocated to Hamilton where they purchased and managed the Skalkaho Health Club, and Patti began her vast friendships within the community. Patti and Ed divorced in 1984.

Prior to a long career with the Hamilton School District as the administrative assistant to the superintendent, Patti spent 2 years serving as the assistant manager of Tammany Group Home for Ravalli Services. While at the school district, she extended her friendship base as she was always willing to serve and to better the school district and community by spending countless hours at board meetings, foundation meetings, organizing 3 on 3 basketball tournaments, and assisting with levy proposals in any way she could. She was instrumental in having a sidewalk installed along Daly Avenue for the safety of the school children and was influential in the creation of the Claudia Driscoll Park and Band Shell. She also spent several years on Faith Lutheran's board serving in various committee positions.

After 16 years with the Hamilton School District she began a career at Riverfront Counseling, where she met her dear friend, Vern. Patti enjoyed her church, gardening, and the Bitterroot. She had begun painting with help from her friend Steve, and liked playing pinochle and going out with her friends. She adored her latest Mother's Day gift, Tebow, a Shorkie puppy. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, Jace and Jayden.

Patti is preceded in death by her son, Jerry; husband, Fred; sister, JoAnn; mother, Arlene and father, Gordon. She is survived by sons, Dennis (Lori) Krasovich of Orr, MN and Kevin (Stefanie) Krasovich of Hamilton; daughter, Angela (Brett) Whitlow of Hamilton; sister, Maxine Vering of Sun City, AZ; 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
