Pat Folz, 83, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday morning at her daughter’s residence south of Hamilton following a long illness. She left this world quietly, surrounded by her family and dear friends Kellie and Sterling Maus.
She was born December 27, 1932 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the daughter of Elmer and Helen Zeaman.
She attended McDill School and graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point.
On Jan. 22, 1955 she married Alphonse John Folz in Stevens Point. They traveled all over the United States due to Al’s job. She enjoyed being active in her children’s lives and watching them grow up. She loved spending time in the outdoors, camping, hiking, hunting and fishing with her family. Pat enjoyed her grandchildren and participated in all their activities.
In 1988, the couple moved to Hamilton.
Surviving are her daughter, Pamela in Hamilton, 3 grandchildren Maquala, Katye and Alphonse, her son Dana and wife Trina of Parker, Colorado, 3 granddaughter’s, Breanna and husband Grant, Sierra and Shayla, many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Al; her parents, Elmer and Helen Zeaman of Stevens Point, WI; sister’s, Nadine Belmont of Stevens Point, WI., and Marjorie Jordan of Waukesha, WI.
Graveside service will be at Corvallis Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
