Pauline "Polly" (Reum) Sanders

June 14, 1923 — May 11, 2016

Pauline (Polly) Elizabeth Sanders completed her earthly journey May 11, 2016, and left to be with her Savior whom she loved and served.  Born in Troy County, Michigan on June 14, 1923, Polly moved to the Bitterroot in 1974; and with her husband Marshall built a log home on the Skalkaho.  She worked for the county for about ten years in the Clerk and Recorder's office, showing up every day in one of her husband's restored Studebakers. She loved cars about as much as he did--and also loved driving them as the local police can attest.

Polly was very much a part of the life of First Baptist Church where she worshipped and taught.  Her passion was serving others, both in the church and in the community.  She outlived her husband and two of her sons; and is survived by sons Marshall Ill and Larry, and daughter Laura Snyder, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at The River First Baptist Church on Lewis Lane, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Show Mercy International at showmercy.org.
