Peggy Kemp Averre
CORVALLIS - Peggy Kemp Averre departed this earth May 16, 2009 of Congestive Heart Failure. Born in Beaumont, Texas July 17, 1941. She leaves behind a sister, Carol Harwell; two brothers and grown children, Charles Woodward, Charlotte Woodward, Douglas Vaughn and Golda Vaughn in addition to four grandchildren.
Peggy was an interesting and colorful woman. She traveled the world artificially inseminating cattle, she broke horses, was a sharp shooter, cooked for outfitters, flew helicopters, worked as a CNA at Marcus Daly and the list goes on and on.
Though she has left this earth, in all our hearts she will remain.
