Percie Lee "Hippie Dude" Jones

Missoula – Percie Lee Jones “Hippie Dude”, 67, of Missoula passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024. at his cousins home in Hamilton.  He was born October 8, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii the son of Walter Roy and Ethel Louise (Smith) Jones.

After graduating from high school, Percie enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps.  After his honorable discharge he attended the University of Montana and earned his bachelor's degree in Horticulture.

Percie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John C. Fessel.  He is survived by his son, Adam Lee Jones; his granddaughter, Davey Louise Jones; ex-wife, Deb Brown; brothers and sister-in-law, Bertie and Mary Jones and Pete Jones; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with full Military Honors will be held at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Missoula on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00 am.  There will be a reception for family and friends following the service at Westside Park in Missoula.
