HAMILTON – Rachel L. DePauw, 95, of Hamilton passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Marcus Daly Hospice Center. She was born October 17, 1922 in Olney, Texas the daughter of Peter J. and Alwina Klenk.
After high school Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas. She married Harry DePauw on December 23, 1944 in Houston, Texas.
Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and her daughter-in-law, Pamela DePauw. She is survived by 2 sons, Dan DePauw and wife Jan of Stevensville and Barry DePauw of Highland, Maryland; and 4 grandchildren, Kori, Taylor, Addison and Morgan DePauw.
No formal services will be held. Rachel will be laid to rest with her husband in Texas. The family suggests that memorial’s be made in Rachel’s name to Marcus Daly Hospice, 1200 Westwood Dr., Hamilton, MT 59840. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
