Rachel Miller May 3, 1983 - March 31, 2026
Rachel Miller, 42, our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, auntie and friend, now rests in God's embrace and eternal peace after a hard fought battle with mental health.
Rachel was born in 1983 to her incredible parents Steve and Sandra Olds, followed by her younger sister, Caitlyn. After high school, she proudly and excitedly joined the Air Force. Shortly after she gave birth to her only daughter and best friend, Mackenzie. Her devoted husband, Randal Miller, entered their life and fell sincerely in love with the both of them. Together, he and Rachel brought four remarkable young men into the world- Waylon (18) Cooper (14) Krew (12) and Ryatt (6). There was nothing Rachel was more proud of than her children. She loved being a mother. She treasured them deeply and thought highly of them individually.
Rachel was beautiful. She moved through life with kindness, thoughtfulness and a sensitivity that shaped the way she connected with others. She cared passionately for those fortunate enough to know her well.
She is survived by her husband, Randal and their five children, the center of her world; her parents, Steve and Sandra Olds; her sister Caitlyn Sargent and her family; her in-laws; and a wide circle of extended family and loved ones who will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Marvin and Eva Lang and Bob and Mary Olds. And two cousins who also left our world too soon.
Though Rachel lived a beautiful life, surrounded by people who loved her more than anything, she faced personal struggles with a courage that is not always visible to the outside world. Her passing is a reminder that pain can exist even behind a smile, and seemingly happy life.
Rachel will be remembered in countless happy memories she leaves behind. Though she is no longer with us, her love continues to live on in the hearts of all who knew her, a lasting reminder of the joy and light she gave so freely- until we see her again.
In honoring Rachel’s memory, we encourage anyone who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide to reach out- to a friend, a loved one, or a professional. You are worthy of help.
