Ralph "Dave" Decker, 82 of Darby died of natural causes Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Hillside Manor in Missoula.
Dave was born December 21, 1926 in Lewis, Iowa to the late Dan and Laura B. Smith Decker. He served during WWII as a parachutist in the 82nd Airborne Division. Dave was married three times. He worked as an airline mechanic, over the road trucker, sold pre-fabricated houses and as an insurance salesman. Dave was an avid bowler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, a brother and his only son David K. Decker.
Surviving include his daughters, Jo Kruse of St. Ann, MO., Yvonne Peake of Manchester, MD and Shanna Hall of Manvel, TX.; sister, Dorothy Burger of Pontiac, Il; brothers, Larry of Smyrna, GA., Bob of Atwater, IL., and Bill of Darby, MT; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
