Rebecca L. "Becky" Olson

CORVALLIS – Rebecca L. “Becky” Olson, 66, of Corvallis passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2017.  She was born October 2, 1950 in Tacoma, WA the daughter of Laurence H. and Lela R. (Harding) Weaver.

Becky was raised and educated in Puyallup, WA and graduated from Puyallup High School in 1968.  After high school she married Lynn Jones and together they had 2 children, Bryan and Andrea.  Becky and her family moved from California to Bend, OR and eventually to Hamilton in 1979.

She worked in the grocery industry in Hamilton for many years until opening her own cleaning business.  Becky owned and operated Alpine Cleaning for several years.

She married Tom Olson in Hamilton on July 15, 2006.  Becky loved flower gardening, playing cards and board games and especially spending time with her family.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Tom, of Corvallis; her son, Bryan Jones and wife Kellie of Hamilton; her daughter, Andrea Jones of Bozeman; and 2 grandsons, Aaron Scherr of Bozeman and Tyler Jones of Hamilton.

Becky never met a stranger and was a wonderful friend to many.  She is loved and her contagious laugh and witty humor will missed by all.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Corvallis United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Corvallis Cemetery.  There will be a reception following the committal services back at the church.
