Richard "Tom" Thomas Crane

Richard Thomas (Tom) Crane passed away at his home on Thursday January 5th  at the age of 70.

Tom was born to Robert and Naomi Crane on March 22nd, 1952 in Palo Alto, California.  Tom grew up in California and earned his bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of California Davis, where he met his future wife Debbie.

The family moved from California to Minnesota in 1984 where he worked for the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. The family made a final move to Hamilton in 1993 where Tom took a position at Ribi Immunochem.

Tom is survived by his wife Debbie; son Peter and his wife Natasha and their children, Inessa and Ryan; daughter Naomi and her husband Doug, and their daughter Isla.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held later in the spring.
