Robert Bud Hansen

Longtime Sula resident, Robert "Bud" Hansen, 67 passed away Tuesday February 22, 2011 at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula. He was born March 1943 in South Dakota.

Bud was in the Army for three years and then joined the Navy Seabees and retired with 23 years of military service. He was a life member of the VFW and a member of the Ionic Lodge #38 of Hamilton, MT.

Bud is survived by his wife Lou, two daughter, Monique and husband Eric Higginbotham, and Shonna and husband Kurt Trowbridge; five grandchildren, eight siblings and six half-siblings. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters' families, and especially his grandchildren. Bud appreciated all his special friends and how generous and helpful they were to him and others.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2pm, at the Sula Clubhouse with a reception following.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Sula Women's Club or to the Sula Fire Department.
