HAMILTON - Robert Charles Johnson, 84, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Valley View Estates. He was born Oct 8, 1925 in Missoula to Clara Marie and Charles Hans Johnson.
Robert was a Missoula boy with adventures as a newspaper boy, a prankster, a Merchant Marine, an Army man, an Alaskan hunter and trapper, a carpenter, a devoted Mountain Bell employee for 38 years, a beer can collector, a bird lover, a long-time Montana Grizzly fan, a gardener, and a collector of many things.
He was an entrepreneur and his empire was far-flung, ranging from car wash owner, ice business owner, cheese distributor and campground firewood provider.
