Robert H. "Rob" Huppert

Hamilton - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Harold Huppert on February 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on February 23, 1954, Rob was a dedicated father, loving husband, devoted community member and a brilliant engineer whose contributions to his field will be remembered for years to come.

Rob was known for his hardworking nature, sharp-witted one-liners and his unwavering commitment to his family. He found joy in solving complex problems, 49er football and finding humor in the little things. Above all, he cherished his role as a father and husband, always finding time to prioritize those he loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bette Huppert, and leaves behind his beloved wife, Cheryl, along with his children: Stephanie Huppert, Robert “Bob” Huppert (Anna Huppert), Erica Kain (Rory Kain), and his granddaughter Paisley Huppert. He is also survived by his younger brother, James Huppert (Candie Huppert), and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Rob's life will be held at Daly-Leach Memorial Chapel in the Community Room on Saturday April 5th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Rob's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be remembered for the love, wisdom, and laughs he brought to those around him
