Robert W. Schmidt

Robert Schmidt, 72 of Victor passed away from coronary system complications, Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Bob, the son of German emigrants, was born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania. As a boy he enjoyed riding horses, and later developed a passion for photography and cars, especially the Corvette. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a master at fixing anything and everything. He enjoyed travelling throughout Europe and, upon his retirement, relocated to the Bitterroots because the area reminded him of Austria.
He is survived by his loving daughter Erika, sons Richard and Robert Jr., grandchildren Jasmyn, Elise, Derick, Brendan, Matthew and Bret, brother Harry, and his loyal 4 legged companion, Gretchen.
A private family urn placement will take place at a later date.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Montana German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois Rescue (http://www.montanagsdrescue.org ) and/or The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (http://www.bcrfcure.org)
