Ronald W. Ochs

Ronald W. Ochs greeted family and friends in Heaven on February 5, 2024.

He resided at the Discovery Care Nursing Home for 10 years. He was often referred to as the “hat man”. He did not need an abundance of possessions to be happy – instead he encouraged residents, staff and family with a smile, song, a firm handshake, a rhyme and his quirky laugh and mannerisms. He enjoyed growing flowers in the Nursing Home Courtyard.

He will be received with open arms by his parents William and Thelma Ochs; dad by adoption, David Burnham; brother William Ochs; sisters Anne Finnicum, and Ardyce Kelley.

He is survived by sisters Betty Frost (Dean), and Rita Gjefle (Mark) and many nieces, nephews and friends.

No formal services are planned. Ron’s memory will live on in the hearts he touched in his special gifted ways.
