“To be absent from the body is to be present

& at home with the Lord”

2 Corinthians 5:8

Born Rosalie Esther Holmes in Sleepy Eye MN, our precious and beloved mother went home to her Savior and Lord on July 18th, 2024. Rosalie was the youngest of 8 children born to Clarence & Mary Holmes.  She graduated from Limestone High School in Bartonville IL.

Rosalie was married for 66 years to Roy Stoller. She and Roy began their marriage in Illinois, also living in AZ, TX and CA, finally landing in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of MT for the last 30 years. She often worked early in life helping to support their household and 3 children. She and Roy loved the RV life, going South every winter for many years. Mom made friends easily everywhere they went. Always loved for her cheerful attitude and smiling Irish green eyes. Rose loved to dance and had quite the moves right up to her 86th year.

She was full of joy and dearly loved her family. She deeply loved the Lord Jesus and would often remind us that Jesus loved her so! Even in her final battle with Alzheimer’s she never forgot who Jesus is and that He had saved her.

A wife, a mother, a grandmother, great grandmother and daughter of The King. She has one living sister, Olive and was preceded in death by siblings Gene, Marvin, Del, Jimmy, Franny and Patsy. She and Roy lived at West Hills Assisted Living where they shared a room for the last year in the most wonderful loving care.

Rosalie is survived by her husband Roy and children as follows: daughter Kathryn & Sasha Kalinin (Bitterroot Valley), sons Randy Stoller and Dave & Beth Stoller of CA.  Grandchildren: Craig Stoller, Dana & Jackson Burnette, Kara & Clay Stevens, Shane Stoller and Shannon Stoller.  Great-grandchildren: Knox, Shepard and Asa.

She will be greatly missed and remembered with love forevermore. A private burial will be held with immediate family. Flowers may be sent to the West Hills Assisted Living in Hamilton where her husband resides.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
