Rose M. Anderson

Rose Marie Anderson, 86 of Hamilton passed away peacefully, Thursday, Dec. 11th at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
Rose was born January 27, 1928 in Roundup, Montana the daughter of the late Adolph and Mary Barghultz. Following high school she married the love of her life, Vern Edward Anderson in Portland, Oregon. They were happily married for 57 years.
Rose loved to cook, bake pies and make quilts with her friends at church. She enjoyed working in her yard and garden. She always looked forward to daily phone calls with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Vern; sisters, Margaret and Katie and her brother George.
Surviving include her sisters, Betty Williams of Livingston and Helen Frank of Bozeman; brother, Larry (Linda) Barghultz of Great Falls; daughters, Connie of Roundup and Verna (Steve) Schwend of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Ed Treible of Musselshell, MT., Dede (Mike) Jones of Bozeman, MT., Jason (Liza) Schwend of Sheridan, MT., Ryan Schwend of Sheridan, MT., Janelle (Mark) Lykins of Ventura, CA; Great grandchildren, Rachelle (Will) Harris of Great Falls, MT., Stephen andKylee Jones of Bozeman, Olivia and Tionna Schwend of Sheridan, MT., Mia and Tyrell Schwend of Sheridan, MT., Ashlyn and Matthew Lykins of Ventura, CA; great great grandchild, Marlee Harrison of Great Falls, MT.
Rose was so thankful for her wonderful friends and neighbors who treated her like family after moving to Hamilton. Mom we love and miss you so much.
