Royal A. Printz

HAMILTON - Royal A. Printz, 92, of Hamilton passed away on February 25, 2012 at the Discovery Care Centre. He was born March 7, 1919 to Clark Printz and Ethel Binkerd Printz of Hamilton.

He remained in Hamilton for his entire life. He married Eva K. Mayer on July 8, 1939. Together they raised 5 sons and 1 daughter. Doug, Merrill, Paul, Jay, Ken and Sandra Clarkson. They had 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great -grandchildren. He worked for the City of Hamilton as the cemetery sexton and was the owner operator of Printz Transportation for the Hamilton School District. He officially retired at age 75.

He was an avid carpenter, making many family heirloom items and many picture frames for a multitude of friends. Royal was preceded in death by his wife Eva; an infant son, Darrell; a grandchild, Kevin Printz; his infant great grandchild, Forrest Printz; a brother, Robert; his parents, 2 half brothers and a half sister.

Pallbearers will be his 5 sons and son-in-law, Peter Clarkson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Clarkson, Steven Clarkson, Jim Clarkson, Nicole Hicks, Cheryl Fogel, Shelby Printz, Brandon Printz and Sandi Clarkson.
