HAMILTON - Sadie Lorraine Monroe, 89, of Hamilton passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at her home in Hamilton. She was born in Alhambra, California on March 12, 1925. "Ruby Jean" as she was affectionately called was known for her stunning good looks and endless charm. She married her one true love, Arthur Monroe on March 7, 1942 and had 47 wonderful years together, those latter years were spent tooling around the countryside in their prized Lazy Daze motorhome.

Together they had three daughters, Cheryl, Lindsay and Holly " all raised in Arcadia, California. She was a devoted grandmother to 7 " Kyle, Padraic, Dayel, Noel, Corey, Michael T. and Michael A. and great-grandmother of 11. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her, especially by her sister Beverly June.
