Sara Michelle Huus

HAMILTON - Sara Michelle Huus (Pamela, Princess Peanuta, Baby Hewy, Sara Beara, Pretty Girl), 19, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born July 20, 1989 in Hamilton the daughter of Michael O. and Nancy K. Huus.
Sara was raised and educated Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton High School in 2008. She was currently attending the Bitterroot Cosmetology School. She had hoped to complete cosmetology school and move to California with her co-worker and friend Kenny. Sara's long term goals included working her way through school to work in child development as she worked through high school at Sunshine Montessori and loved kids.
Her family and friends kept her busy, many adventures and cheerleading was her favorite sport.
Sara was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Lois Huus and her maternal grandparents, Otto and Virginia Krieg. She is survived by her mom and dad, Nancy and Mike Huus of Hamilton; her big sister Anna Knudsen and her husband Chris and their son Leighton of Columbia Falls, MT; her big brothers, Mikey Huus and Lucky Barrett of Hamilton; and others she considered siblings, Katrina, Kenny, Jasmin, Jennifer, Cory and her children Shane, Seirra and Mia. Aunts and uncles include John Krieg, Janis and Barry Kenfield, and Vicki and Jeff Hinds all of Montana, Greg and Joan Huus of Nebraska, Deb and Larry Goeble, Kathy and Alan Boyd, Marty and Mardy Niel, and Janelle and Randy Junker all of South Dakota; and numerous cousins and other relatives and friends to numerous to mention that she has loved and will always love.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Sara Huus Memorial Fund at Ravalli County Bank.
