Shane A. Day

Shane A. Day, 40 of Corvallis passed away Friday April 15th, 2011. Shane was born June 12, 1970 to Art and Lynda Day. He was married to the love of his life, Carla Day for 20 years. They have two beautiful children Dylon and Cassidy Day.

Shane loved to drive trucks; he learned to drive at a young age from this father and continued his passion as a life long career. He drove for Hilco, Bob Rusell, and Cliff Reed and currently for Bitter Root Disposal. He followed his dream of having his own truck and became the proud owner of Black Pearl and her pup.

Shane loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, shooting, and the family pets, Gunner, Goose and Emma. But most of all he loved the gathering of friends and family in "the shop". Shane's fun loving smile and hospitality will be missed by all.

Shane was preceded in death by his Paternal and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Art and Lynda Day of Hamilton; in-laws, Doyle and Nancy Hobbs of Hamilton; brother, Todd Day (Amanda); nieces, Taylynn and Madilynn and their mother Dana all of Corvallis; sister-in-law, Deana Wood (Derrick); niece, Randee all of Corvallis; his brother-in-law, Craig Hobbs of Hamilton; and Shane's wife, Carla and his beautiful children, Dylon and Cassidy all of Corvallis.

The family request that in Lou of flowers donations be made to the Shane Day Memorial Fund for the benefit of his children which has been set up at Ravalli County Federal Credit Union.
