Sharon Rae Bailey

HAMILTON – Sharon Rae Bailey, 67, of Hamilton passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.  She was born June 26, 1948 in Hamilton the daughter of Henry and June (Foreman) St. John.

Sharon graduated from Hamilton High School and went to Montana State University for a semester before traveling to Hawaii where she took a class in design. She loved Hawaii and stayed there for several more years.

Sharon married Alex Bailey and then opened a Merle Norman studio which she worked along side her mom June.  She loved the Bitterroot Valley and her animals, which were so important to her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Alex.  She is survived by her Mom, June St. John; a step-son, Alex Bailey; and her sister, Marcia St. John-Payne of Seattle.

Services will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Daly-Leach Chapel with a reception following in the funeral home’s community room.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sharon’s name to the Bitterroot Humane Association, 262 Fairgrounds Rd., Hamilton, MT  59840.  Anyone wanting to contact the family should contact Marcia Payne, Sharon’s sister.
