Shirley Ann Jacobson

September 6, 1935 — December 20, 2010

FLORENCE - Shirley Ann Jacobson of Florence passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Patrick Hospital surrounded by her loving husband of 61 years, James, and her son and daughter.
Shirley traveled the United States working with her husband on sensitive, technical government projects. She managed the office and over saw the quality control on these expensive and extensive projects. Shirley was commended several times by officials for her attention to detail and exemplary work.

Before the pain of arthritis took away her pleasure to crochet, she made and gave away many lovely afgans. She especially loved making them for babies. Her beautiful embroidery work was both intricate and delicate. Shirley was also a wonderful cook and baker. There was always room for one more at her table. Friends and family looked forward to her wonderful cinnamon rolls during the holidays.

Shirley will be remembered for her warm gracious manner and generous spirit. She will be cherished in her family's hearts. Shirley is survived by her husband James; her son, Larry Jacobson; her daughter, LaRae Brodowy; her son-in-law, Richard Brodowy all of Florence; granddaughter, Lexi Jo Stober and husband Erik and great-grandsons, Zealan and Finlan Stober all of Great Falls.

Memorials made in Shirley's name to the Arthritis Foundation would be appreciated by those who want to remember Shirley.
