Steven Allan Wills, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and skilled outdoorsman, passed away on December 29, 2024. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Les and Darlene Wills and graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 1971.

Steve built a fulfilling career as a licensed arborist, skillfully clearing electrical lines from pine trees in rugged mountain terrains. He worked for Nelson’s Tree Service in Arizona and later for Asplundh in Montana, where his expertise and dedication earned him respect in his field.

On August 8, 1988, Steve married Judith Moats, beginning a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. Together, they raised four children: Brandon (Melissa) Wills of Colorado, Bronson (Holly) Wills of Wichita, Kansas, Lezlie Moats Hernandez of Darby, Montana, and Marjean Moats of Darby, Montana. Steve and Judy were blessed with eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to their lives.

Steve is also survived by his brother, Mike Wills of Douglass, Kansas, Harold Casey of Valley Center, Kansas, Brett Casey of Vancouver, Canada, and Shannon Casey of California.

Steve will be fondly remembered for his love of the great outdoors. Hunting and fishing alongside family and friends were his greatest passions, and he was known for his remarkable skill and deep connection to nature.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and treasured moments. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
