Susan S. Borchard

Susan S. Borchard, 71 of Florence passed away Sunday August 24, 2025 at The Springs in Missoula.

Sue was born in Richmond California, the daughter of the late Edward and Imogene Smith Sage. Sue moved to Butte Montana as a child and that is where she grew up.

As an adult she later moved to Missoula Montana to raise her children and had a successful child daycare business. It was in Missoula where she met her husband to be Arthur T. Borchard. Art and Sue were married in September of 1998 and lived in Florence Montana.

She has 3 children, daughter Jeanna Maart, sons Trini R. Campbell and Travis Campbell; She has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sue loved animals, collected birdhouses, and would often gift people items she knitted.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4th at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
