Susan Kaye Jacobson

Susan Jacobson of Hamilton passed away unexpectedly, early in the morning on July 20th, 2020 in her home. She was born December 3, 1964 in San Bernardino, CA, the daughter of the late Diane Riggs and Michael Jacobson.

She was raised in Redlands, CA and a graduate of Redlands Senior High School.  Prior to relocating to Hamilton in the mid 90's, Susan worked in the mortgage, escrow, and insurance businesses.  Locally, Susan held jobs in manufacturing, banking, and property management.

Susan was a devoted mother to Lindsey Diane, the joy of her life. She also loved animals of all kinds, especially her little Pug, Olive Jane. She enjoyed home cooking, hosting gatherings of family and friends, and tending to her flowers. She loved the beauty of the Bitterroot Valley and enjoyed taking long drives to admire the scenery. She also enjoyed frequent trips with Lindsey back to California to visit her brother, father, and step-mother. She will be dearly missed!

Susan is survived by her daughter, Lindsey, of Hamilton; father, Michael Jacobson and step­mother Susan Jacobson, of Roseville, CA; brother, Brian Jacobson, of Irvine, CA; her adopted daughter Leah Laine, of Hamilton, and adopted grandchildren, Hunter Ivy and Keith Christoper and many, much-loved aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of her family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. A reception will follow at The Edge restaurant in Hamilton at noon.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
