Terene Kay "Teri" Fisk

November 12, 1957 — May 10, 2013

HAMILTON - Terene Kay "Teri" Fisk, 55, of Hamilton passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 after battling cancer. She was born November 12, 1957 in American Falls, ID the daughter of Gerald and Roberta Anderson.
Teri was raised and educated in Orem, UT. After high school she attended college before going to work for Rocky Mountain Helicopters where she met Skip Fisk. Teri and Skip were married on March 13, 1981 in American Falls, ID.
Together they continued to travel following Skip's career until settling in the Bitterroot Valley in 1986. Teri stayed at home with her children until 1994 when she began working at the pre-school at Grace Lutheran Church. In 1996, she began working at the Grantsdale Elementary School and remained there until her health forced her to leave in March of this year. Teri was very instrumental in the refurbishing of the bell tower at the Grantsdale School.
Many people knew her as the "Angel Lady" because of the Angel pins she made. Teri was a long time supporter and member of the Hamilton High School Booster Club and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially her Kahula cakes. Teri loved following her children in all of their various activities growing up and she especially enjoyed taking trips to the Oregon Coast.
She was preceded in death by her husband Skip; her grandpa and grandma Rast and her grandpa Anderson. She is survived by 3 children; C.J. and wife Karre of Gillette, WY, Shane and wife Kristin of Fort Collins, CO and Katie Fisk of Hamilton; her parents, Gerald and Roberta Anderson of Hamilton; her mother-in-law, Meriam Fisk of Taylor Mill, KY; 2 sisters, Jeri Park and husband Randy of Provo, UT and Leslie Spendrup and husband Trent of Grand Junction, CO; 1 brother, Rusty Anderson and wife Susan of Provo, UT; 7 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made in Teri's name to college scholarship fund that has been set up at Ravalli County Bank.
