Thelma Jean Bailey

HAMILTON - Thelma Jean Bailey, 85, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center after a long battle with Dementia and Parkinson's.
She was born June 11, 1927 in Rockton, PA the daughter of the late Lester and Lillian Thomas. Thelma was raised in Rockton and attended school in DuBois, PA, graduating in 1945.
On November 5, 1946 she married Bruce E. Bailey in Stillwater, OK. Bruce's career in the military took them to many different places over the next 22 years. After his retirement from Maxwell Air Force Base in Pratville, AL, Bruce and Thelma along with their 3 children moved to Hamilton.
Thelma was a loving wife to Bruce for 66 A½ years. She was also a very loving mother and grandmother. Thelma will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Bailey. She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce; her son, Pat Bailey; her daughter, Peg Whary and husband Eric; granddaughters, Brittany Porter and Michelle Tafoya; and great-granddaughter, Aria Tafoya.
There will be no formal services.
