Thomas (Tom) Oran Maynard, 67, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Hamilton, Montana, after a brief battle with cancer.

He leaves his wife, Lisa Ditzler Maynard; dog, Colt; sons, Tommy Maynard of Erie, PA, and Travis (Desiree) Maynard of Bradford, PA; brothers, Darrel Maynard of Coudersport, PA, and Steven (Debra) Maynard of Denver, NC; six nephews and one niece.

He was predeceased by his father, Thomas A. Maynard, mother, Joan Oviatt Maynard, and stepdaughter, Amy Cooney.

Tom was born in Coudersport, PA, on October 28, 1958. He graduated from Coudersport Jr. Sr. High School in 1977 and married Lisa on March 12, 1982.

Tom owned and operated Maynard Construction from 1982 through 1998. Tom and Lisa moved to Montana in 1999. Tom owned and operated Foxfire Builders Group from 1999 to 2006. Then he was employed as a project manager until his retirement in 2020.

Tom loved hunting, fishing, hiking, four wheeling, and horseback riding. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.

No formal services will be held. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
