Thomas H. Robinson

Thomas H. Robinson passed away peacefully July 12, 2014. A longtime resident of San Jose, Tom was born in Alva, Oklahoma October 27, 1946 and raised in West Covina, CA and Hamilton, MT. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelia, his daughter Tamara Fussell (Jim) and grandson Colton. He also leaves behind two brothers, Ron and Larry Robinson and four sisters, Connie Beck, Barbara Leavens, Debbie French and Elisa Schelton. He will be greatly missed.

Tom graduated from Hamilton High School in 1964. After spending 3 years in the United States Navy Tom made the Bay Area his home and earned his degree at San Jose State University in 1973 as a Business Economics Major.

Never one to be tied to a desk Tom's occupations were always active, first in the grocery business with Safeway and PW stores, followed by 20 years with 7 Up Bottling Co. He retired from delivering heavy construction equipment for United Rentals in 2011.

An avid fan of the San Francisco Giants, Tom also loved the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his family. Tom will be remembered for his humor, great stories and loving heart.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12th at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton with Pastor Dusty Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton with military honors presented by the U.S. Navy, Hamilton American Legion and the Marine Corps League.
