Timothy Dwight Mix Sr.

Timothy Dwight Mix, Sr., 77 of Hamilton, MT went to meet his Savior on Sunday October 30, 2016 while surrounded by his family and loved ones.  He was born on July 19, 1939 in Great Bend, Kansas.  The eldest son of James and Isabel (Dewey) Mix. The early part of his life was spent in Anaconda, MT where he met his wife of 57 years Ruth (Frankovich) Mix.  Though Tim and Ruth lived in many places, Hamilton has been their home for 39 years.

Tim was an over the road truck driver for the majority of his life and prided himself on getting the load where it needed to be and was consistently a top driver for all companies that he worked for.

Although he enjoyed many outdoor activities, Tim was an avid fisherman always asking how the fish were biting, enjoying many sturgeon fishing trips with family and friends.

Tim was a man of God, a loving husband, father and grandfather offering help and advice to any family member or friend who needed it.

He is survived by his wife Ruth, Tim Mix Jr. and wife Teresa, Julie (Mix) Jessop and husband Keith, Andy Mix and wife Jill, Curt Mix and wife Stephanie, Trenton Mix, 16 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.

Specifically a special thanks to our granddaughter Bridgette and all the compassionate staff of Marcus Daly Memorial hospital intensive care unit: Susanne, Sandy, Becky, Paul, Romi, Lori & Tami!

The family will be holding a private service.  In lieu of flowers etc, please make donations to the Hamilton food bank.
