Tyler John Hilton, 32, of Houston, TX, formerly from Darby, MT, passed away on October 9, 2021, in Houston. Tyler was born July 10, 1989, in Ronan, MT. He was the youngest of three children to Ken & Lori Hilton. Besides his parents, Tyler leaves behind his brother, Ryan, and his sister, Janelle, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.
The family moved to the Darby area in 1995. Tyler graduated from Darby High School as the Salutatorian in 2007 where he also participated in drama. He then went to Montana Tech in Butte where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2011. Tyler applied and was accepted to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he received his master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2017. He worked as a Senior Research Data Coordinator at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Tyler was an avid reader. He also enjoyed going to concerts, museums, spending time with friends and family, contra dancing, and movie and game nights. Tyler appreciated living in Houston for its culture and vast variety of activities.
Tyler was a kind, gentle, and giving man with so much goodness in his heart. He brought happiness and joy to others with his wit and humor. Tyler’s compassion and quiet thoughtful manner was appreciated by many. He had such a bright future with so much promise that the world will be a lesser place without him. Tyler was loved and treasured for who he was, and he will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and the many other people that he touched in his life.
