Tyler James Michels

DICKINSON, ND - Tyler James Michels passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Dickinson, to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He brought love, laughter and joy to everyone around him.

Tyler was born November 6, 1986 in Missoula, MT. He was raised and educated in Frenchtown and later attended the University of Montana.

Tyler would help anyone out before helping himself. He had the biggest heart, the most contagious smile and he loved so much. Tyler loved animals, especially his dog, Baby, and his cat, Cheech.

Tyler enjoyed camping, going to stock car races with his dad, fishing, golfing and an occasional one-on-one game of basketball with his friends and family. Although Tyler loved and held dear to all those he met, the most important thing Tyler's life was the love he had for his family. We know we are going to see you again someday so keep everyone laughing and smiling until we are together again.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandma, June Busby; great-grampa and grandma Evans; his aunt, Tar'Ysa Mack Stewart; and his uncle, Glen Peek. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Dori and Mike Langley, Sr of Frenchtown; his father and step-mother, Craig and Joni Michels of Dickinson, ND; his sister, Amy Somda and her husband Arnaud, whom Tyler considered a brother, and their 2 children, K'ani and Kenzi of Duluth, GA; step-brother, Mike Langley Jr and wife Amy of Cheyenne, WY; step-sister, Tina Hannenan and husband Troy of Missoula; step-brother, Ryan Evans of Missoula; step-sister, Karla Hornstein of Missoula; grandparents, Margaret Mack of Troy, and Virnie and Ladonna Mack of Libby; aunt, Cindy Peek of Libby; Aunt Patti Regh and husband Jim of Libby; uncle, Keith Mack and wife Betty of Troy; aunt, Robin Henderson and husband Alan of Frenchtown; uncle, Frank Mack and wife Pam of Kalispell; aunt, Carol Weir and husband Ryan of Buna, TX and aunt, Dana Michels of Miles City; cousins, Johnny Peek, Amanda Zajanc, Boomer Peek, Morgan Peek, Vicki Johnson, Lesli Harlicker, Staci Regh, Scott Mack, Mar'kee Houppert, Alysha, Ann and Hunter Mack, Christopher Challinor, Shane Taylor, Tianna Henderson, Angela, Chad and Aly Henderson, Garrett Mack, Kylee Amundson, Tanner, Brianna, Reggie and Peyton Mack, Bryttnie, Justin and Kristi Yoes, and Hunter and Tanner Weir; and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
