Velma Pauline Haaland

Velma Haaland, 82 of Hamilton passed away March 30, 2024 at her home in Hamilton.

Velma was born December 13, 1941 in Matador, Texas the daughter of Charles and Jewell Cartwright Grant.

She married Pittman Trimble on December 14, 1957. Pitman Trimble passed away suddenly in July 1999.  Velma married Bud Haaland in June 2006.

Velma worked as a Florist and Pastor throughout her life. She enjoyed reading and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pittman Trimble and daughter Julie Pittman.

Velma is survived by her husband Edvin “Bud” Haaland; son Steve Trimble; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 4:00 p.m. April 2, 2024 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Hamilton Assembly of God Church with Pastor John Weaver officiating.  Private family interment will take place at Grantsdale Cemetery.
