Velma E. Wear

Hamilton - Velma E. Wear, 88 of Hamilton died, July 9, 2009 at Valley View Estates in Hamilton after a long illness.
She was born at Ekalaka, Montana on August 24, 1920 the daughter of Frank and Lottie Heckathorn.
Velma was united in marriage to Robert E. Wear on November 23, 1939. They lived on the Wear Ranch until 1955. Renting the ranch, they purchased the Wear Hardware in Ekalaka and operated it as a family until 1994.
Survivors include her son, Bill (Diane) Wear of Camp Crook, SD.; daughter, Winnie Wear of Hamilton; grandchildren, Tzeidel Bryan, Rachel Wear, Aaron Wear, Sarah Wear; great grandson, Ethan Bryan; sisters, Catherine Pendergraft, Vera Coleman, Rie (Vern) Sage, Jane (Ron) Roberts; brother-in-law, Weaver Palin; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, her parents, 3 sisters, and her grandson-in-law, Jade Bryan.
