Viola A. Bridge

Viola A. Bridge, 90, passed into the presence of God on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Discovery Care Centre.
Viola (Vi) was born November 13, 1921 in Lemmon, SD., to Joseph and Ida Lundberg. She graduated from Lemmon High School in 1939. On Jan 2, 1940, she married her sweetheart, Lloyd C. Bridge. She enjoyed raising their children, being a homemaker and gardening. Vi was well known for her cooking and baking. She liked entering baked goods, etc. in the Ravalli County Fair and received many ribbons, plus many best-of-show awards for her pastry, "Peach Flip."
Vi loved the Lord and singing old hymns and leading the singing at Grantsdale Community Church. She also enjoyed belonging to the Grantsdale Ladies Aide and American Legion Auxiliary.
Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, 2 infants, her parents and four brothers and a sister.
Viola is survived by two daughters, Janet (Donald) Parker of Portland, OR; Ilene (Rolland) Schrader of Hamilton; A son, Loren (Elaine) Bridge of Corvallis; two granddaughters, Lisa (Jason) Rigby of Missoula and Tina Parker of Greenville, IL.; two grandsons, Derik Schrader of Fayetteville, NC and Eric Parker of Nashville, TN; great granddaughter, Macy Rigby of Missoula; two brothers, Gerald and Marvin Lundberg; two sisters, Elaine Schulze and Mavis Faverty.
The family suggests memorials to the Grantsdale Community Church, Aspen Hospice, 107 Bell Crossing W., Stevensville, MT 59870, or a charity of the donor's choice.
