Virginia Lee Moore

HAMILTON - Virginia Lee Moore, 81, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at her home of natural causes. She was born July 24, 1933 in Dryfork, WV the daughter of General Luther and Audra Tencil (Wilson) Hammack.
Virginia was raised and educated in Morgantown, WV and graduated from high school in 1951. She married Thurman J. "Greg" Gregory in 1951 and together they had three children. Virginia and Greg later divorced.
Virginia married Robert Glenn Moore in 1991 and they relocated to Hamilton. She was a bookkeeper for over 30 years. Virginia was a lifetime member of the Leona Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Hamilton. She loved dogs and working around her home. Virginia will be dearly missed by her family and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant brother, Jackie Eugene Hammack; her husband, Robert Glenn Moore; and her children's father, Thurman J. Gregory. She is survived by her sister, Mary Louise (Hammack) Miller of Morgantown, WV; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Daniel May of Florence and Sheryl and Don Labonte of Portsmouth, VA; her son, Jody Gregory of Sarasota, Florida; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
No formal services will be held. Virginia will be laid to rest at the Western Montana Veterans Cemetery in Missoula.
