Walter "Wally" R. Karr

Darby – Walter “Wally” R. Karr, 78 of Darby passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

Wally was born September 27, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Catherine Karakuszka.  He worked at General Electric for 30 years.  He enjoyed model railroading and the Illinois Railway Museum.

Wally was preceded in death by his wife Patricia J. Karr.

He was survived by his daughter, Christine (Paul) Gryszkiewicz; granddaughter, Erica; brothers, Arnold (late wife, Patricia) and Richard (Mary) Karr; two nieces and four nephews.

Visitation will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23rd at the Daly-Leach Chapel

Funeral services be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23rd at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton with interment following at Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby.

The family suggests memorials to the Illinois Railway Museum, 7000 Olson Rd. Union, IL 60180.
