William "Billy" Dawson

May 2, 1941 — May 3, 2015

William "Billy" Dawson, 74 of Corvallis died May 3, 2015 at his home. Billy was born May 2, 1941 in Framingham, Mass.
Hollywood lost another star "Billy D" winkin, blinkin and exited stage left. Those of us who knew and loved Billy know he's now "Hangin out with Gungadin" asking, "What time is it?" Although Billy always said he wanted to be the Chief of the Flathead Tribe, we all knew he spent a good share of his life building movie sets for Hollywood movies and loved to tell about rubbing elbows with Clint Eastwood and what a sweet lady Angie Dickenson was.
In 1995, Billy met the love of his life, Penny; where else but the Buffalo Chip Bar. They married in September 1996 and moved to Hamilton, Montana in 2001 to begin their true love story where they promised each other to stay forever.
Billy is survived by his wife, Penny; son, Mitchell Carter of Albany, LA; granddaughters, Chloe, Olivia and Michela; sister-in-law, Debbie Bornitz; niece, Ruby Bornitz; nephew, James Bornitz; cousin, Pam Benardi and numerous children and grandchildren of Montana; his faithful companions, TJ and Coco.
A celebration of Billy's life Potluck will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9th at Cowboy Troy's in Victor, MT. Burgers and hot dogs will be provided, please bring a side dish. God's speed to you, "Humma Humma"
