William (Bill) Michael Gouin, 77, of Hamilton Montana passed away suddenly on March 2, 2024. He is survived by his wife Roxanne.

Born on August 7, 1946 to Helen and William Gouin in Seattle Washington. Bill graduated from Queen Anne High School in Seattle and went on to gain a Master of Science in Chemistry at San Jose State University August 13, 1974. Bill starred on the Intercollegiate Judo Team, placing second at the Collegiate Judo National Championships in 1971.

Bill received his Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam in 1969.

He married Roxanne Gouin on Sept 16, 2001 in Los Altos CA. They retired and moved to Hamilton Montana in 2004.

Bill loved fishing, hunting, traveling and gardening. He and Roxanne had a happy marriage and traveled the world. The Gouins started and maintained a Food Pantry for 10 years in Victor MT at their church. Bill loved the Lord and always helped others. He was an excellent role model to his 4 Godchildren along with his nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed.

His Celebration of Life will be held on June 2, 2024 at 12:30pm at the Bitterroot Valley Church of the Nazarene in Victor MT (406 642-3838). In lieu of flowers, donations to the “Food Pantry” at the church would be appreciated. For additional information contact the Daly Leach Chapel in Hamilton MT (406 363-2010)
