Yvonne A. Garvin

Yvonne A. Garvin, 77, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was born September 29, 1934 in Willard, OH the daughter of Harrison C. and Ida (Lefler) Moore.

Yvonne married Gerald Garvin on March 9, 1963. Together they owned and operated several gas stations in Torrence, Gardenia and Roseville, CA. They retired to Hamilton in 1995 and spent their winters in Arizona.

Yvonne enjoyed sewing, doll collecting and she also collected baskets. She was preceded in death by her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. Yvonne is survived by her husband, Gerald H. Garvin; her sons, Greg Garvin and Larry Sherman; her daughters, Dawn Carrozzo and Sue Ely; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Yvonne's name to Marcus Daly Hospice.
