Barbara Eloise Harrison

Barbara Eloise Harrison, age 82 of Corvallis, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, in the comforts of her own home and loving family by her side. Barbara was born August 6, 1939, to Otis and Helen (Wilson) Chamberlain, in Tacoma, Washington. She grew up there and graduated from Stadium High School. She met the love of her life, Clyde Harrison, and they were married, June 13, 1959. To this marriage, the happy couple added 3 sons, Don, Jeff, and John.

For the majority of her working career, Barbara was the president of Washington Mutual Bank. She enjoyed being a part of the Corvallis Women’s Club and the Red Hat Society. In her spare time, she relished playing pinochle as well as camping with friends and spending time with family and loved ones.

Later in life, Barbara met another special person, Larry Collar and his family Jeffrey Collar and Rayann Collar.  Together they spent their lives together going on trips to Southern California, visiting Larry's brother Norman and his wife Linda.  They visited Yellowstone and Glacier National Park, enjoyed her family for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Birthdays with Barbara's three son's families.  Barbara loved her church.  She will live in our hearts forever.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Harrison; her brothers, Jim and Bob Chamberlain; and sister, Nancy Puryear.

She is survived by her sons, Don (Kathryn) of Corvallis, Jeff of Corvallis, and John (Donna) of Lolo; sister Marjorie Schimmel; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A funeral will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at the Daly-Leach Chapel. A Graveside Service will be at the Corvallis Cemetery. There will also be a Celebration of Her Life following the interment at the Corvallis United Methodist Church, 352 Corvallis Cemetery Rd, Corvallis, MT.
