Charles H. "Chuck" Wood

HAMILTON - Charles H. "Chuck" Wood was born July 22, 1939 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Ervin R. and Ella D. (Hopper) Wood. Chuck had a horse accident on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 and passed away at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
Chuck married Lynn Waldo in Litchfield Park, AZ on March 20, 1970. Together they moved back to Lynn's hometown in Hamilton in the fall.
Chuck served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years. He worked at the mills in Darby until they shut down. He then drove truck for Cliff Reed, Seanic Trucking and Bill Farrell Trucking. After retiring 10 years ago Chuck began working summers for Big Sky Catering feeding fire fighters. A job he truly loved because he could talk to so many different people.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Jean and Bob Waldo; son, Chad, brothers, Ernest, Ray and David; and sisters, Peggy and Doris. He is survived by his wife, Lynn; his son, Quang (Yee); grandchildren, Sarah, Samuel and Julia; sisters, Margaret (Bill), Linda and Martha Carol; his brother-in-law, R.D. (Connie) Waldo; special cousin, Katherine Lacy; many nieces, nephews and so many people he loved so much.
