HAMILTON - At 2:23 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2019, Donna Lewis went where we can not come now; she has awoke in His likeness and is now experiencing what we can only imagine.

She was the most amazing person, except for our Lord, I ever met. Her smile and laughter we're balanced with her kindness and grace that touched lives. Her beauty went through to her soul and left an imprint that moved people towards God's Kingdom. Her intelligence was equally matched with compassion that left a person not only wiser but comforted. The people she loved knew not only her love but the love of Jesus through her. To walk in the gaze of her interests and passions left you excited where you may have been disinterested prior. Those closest to her will, for the remainder of their lives, have the fondest of memories that we lovingly call Donnaism’s.

The closest of the lives transformed by her are, her husband of 40 years, Dale; her children, Nicole and Tom; her grandchildren, Hannah, Nathan and Elias, whom she was gladly known as Nana and loved super-duper much; and those whom she served in two churches over 31 years, Calvary Chapel Merced and Bitterroot Valley Calvary Chapel along with those that she worked along side and helped as a senior loan officer at Ravalli County Federal Credit Union.  All were equally blessed to have been touched by her love.  Her siblings, Mary, Karen, Charles and David, grew up with someone that took the same upbringing and transformed it into a masterpiece of grace and strength. Though her parents Charles and Elsie Grom passed away 13 years earlier we will be forever grateful for their involvement in her life that gave the world Donna Marie Lewis.

Her family wishes to thank all for their prayers and compassion towards them over the last nine months as Donna battled valiantly her AML Leukemia both in Billings for 33 days and Seattle, WA for seven months.

You all gave me the best eight months of my life with my bride and best friend, thank you. We are beyond comforted, even though our hearts ache, knowing that we share the same love of Jesus as she did and one day will join her in His presence. Instead of flowers and gifts we would only ask that you love others, pursue others to better them instead of yourself and live to be a blessing because you are blessed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the BItterroot Valley Calvary Church.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
