Dorris Babcock

Hamilton - Dorris Humble-Babcock was born in Hamilton, June 6, 1941 to Shorty and Irene Humble.  She was raised in Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton High School, class of 1959. 

Dorris married the love of her life Keith Babcock in 1959.  They traveled the world and had many adventures together as a military family with the additions of children Joe and Jolene.  Dorris and Keith spent 20 years together until his passing in 1979. 

Dorris had many jobs over the years until retiring to help care for her great grandson Mark.  She was a much-loved fixture at various casinos around town.  Dorris is survived by her son, Joe Babcock, granddaughter, Jenny Burkey and great grandson, Mark Maxey, all of Hamilton; granddaughter, Amanda and Don Fisher of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Ty Humble of Redmond, WA and Joe and Pat Humble of Walla Walla, WA; sister-in-law, Dixie Humble of Everett, WA and Beverly Babcock of Spokane, WA; also, many nieces and nephews she loved so much.

She was preceded in death by her parents and parent-in-law, Eddie and Hazel Babcock, daughter, Jolene Burkey and brother, Rollie Humble.
