Enno Wood Hartman
January 30, 1938 - February 25, 2021
Enno Wood Hartman, 83 of Corvallis, MT – Left our earthly presence February 25, 2021, peacefully surrounded by his family at Marcus Daily Memorial Hospital, Hamilton, Montana. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 30, 1938 to the late Enoch & Martha (Wood) Hartman. Raised on Indian Lake in Corunna, IN. Graduating from Ashley High School in 1956, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. 1956-1959
Loving and devoted husband to Jeri Hartman since July 11, 1992, father of Cory G. Hartman, Daniel L. Hartman and Tisha E. (Dave) Stewart of Carson City, Nevada. His grandchildren Kelsey Kareck, Jayson Kareck, and a great-grandson Leo Wesley Norris. Also survived by brother Bill (Nancy) Hartman and numerous other loving relatives and close friends.
Enno is preceded in death by his parents, his first son Cory, siblings Patricia Caudill, David Hartman, Sue Evans Howard and Phyllis Joan Hartman Walters. His favorite great patriot Rush Limbaugh.
Enno left his mark during his time with us. Sometime after discharge from the Marines he moved to Reno Nevada where is children Cory and Tisha were born. He was an accomplished master mechanic at Hallman Chevrolet, founder and owning operator of National Tow and Road Service, Reno, Nevada. He loved gold dredging the Yuba, Mokelumne, Rubicon, Feather Rivers, Ca. He moved to his beloved Bitterroot Valley in 1974 where son Daniel was born and raised. He started his real estate brokerage opening Corvallis Stage Stop Realty and then at the same location he created his greatest legacy the Enan Wood Stove. From then forward he was known as the Enanizer for all he could engineer. Echo Enterprises as a backhoe operator 1976-1996. Worked as a tow truck operator 2003-2009 at Wimps Body Woks, Hamilton, Mt. Always tinkering and paying attention to the details could fix anything given enough time to think about it. He had an excitement for life, loved nature and wanted to help others.
Visitation to be held at Daly-Leach Chapel 1010 W. Main. Street. Hamilton, Montana. Wednesday March 3, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 pm, with a graveside service with full military honors at Hamilton River View Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
