Franz Rose, Jr.

July 1, 1962 — June 9, 2014

CORVALLIS - Franz Rose Jr. left this world quietly at home June 8th at the age of 51.

Frank was born July 1st 1962 in Seattle and grew up in Burien Wa. He was born to Franz and Virginia Rose. He was an active, happy child who always loved to laugh and took his fabulous sense of humor with him throughout his life, sharing it with everyone around him. He was an Eagle Scout, active in many sports and a fantastic musician. He began playing drums at an early age, later branching out to the sax, piano, keyboards and guitar. He could play anything he picked up, being very well trained and having an amazing natural talent. His love of music was a huge part of who Frank was. He was also very talented with wood working, starting with working with his father in the family business. He was a master molder operator and set up man for many years. He was also a master cabinetmaker and designed and built gorgeous kitchens, furniture, clocks and just about anything he set his mind to. Frank is loved by many people and will be remembered with much love.

He later moved to Boise ID where he met, fell in love with and married Ann. He first fell in love with her daughter Melissa and when she discovered them in the chapel playing the piano and singing hymns, and Ann fell in love with him. They married soon after. They shared a love for The Lord and pursued a life serving Him and others. He blessed them with two more children, Franky and Rachel Ann. They were very active as a family in the Salvation Army church and community. Frank loved to help others and was always lending a helping hand in his community.

Frank is survived by his only son, Franz Rose III of Corvallis, MT; his mother Virginia Hillman, brother Jack Mitchell both of Nampa, ID; sister Inga Klep of Spokane, WA, sister Regina Rose of Oreana, ID and several nephews and a niece, his step daughter Melissa of Atlanta, GA as well as his ex wife Ann. He will be thought of often and very missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his precious daughter Raychel Ann Rose and his father Franz Rose.
