HAMILTON - Gearlene "Jerri" McCutcheon of Hamilton was born in Cave Creek, Arkansas on October 10, 1943 and entered her heavenly home on March 16, 2021.
She was born to Bonnell and Gearld McCutcheon and was a dearly loved sister to eight siblings. Jerri had many titles that ranged from being a business women, owning Savvy Consignment and Loveland Acres, as well as being well known at the Rocky Knob for many years. She was a mom and a great one at that, a protector, nurturer and so many other wonderful things that moms are, to her daughter Lisa. Being an example of motherhood to pass on to generations to come. She was a Nana to her granddaughter Breanna who taught her what true compassion for others looked like and meant. She was a soon to be "Great Grammy" to a little one on the way. She was very excited about this news. Her family was the center of her heart.
Nothing was better than sitting around the kitchen table laughing and telling stories which made even more memories. Her laugh and smile could fill the room. She portrayed grace and strength all in one. God saw her getting tired so He wrapped His arms around her and whispered "Come unto me." She gladly traded her cabin in the woods for her mansion in the sky. This is not goodbye but simply see you soon. Until we meet again to be with our Lord, we all love you so much.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Grantsdale Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
