Joseph "Joe" Kasel

CORVALLIS - Joseph "Joe" Kasel, 87, of Corvallis, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was born on June 7, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Anna (Slipota) Kasel. 

On September 1, 1956, Joe married the love of his life Patricia Ann Collins, and they had 67 wonderful years together.

Joe took his wife Pat on many adventures that began in Ohio with a wedding and three children. Then down to Southern Florida where they had one more child and last out west to Montana. Joe was a mason and built many homes in all the places he and Pat lived. He loved riding his dirt bike, building dune buggies and hunting. Joe was very creative and enjoyed using various mediums to create artwork beginning with oil paints to acrylics, airbrushing and graphic design. His favorite subject was wildlife.

Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth and his brother, Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Corvallis, MT; daughter, Stephanie of Corvallis, MT; son Jeff, of Hamilton, MT; daughter, Marianne and her husband Mark Holmes of Corvallis, MT; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; his brother, James Kasel of Ohio; 4 nieces and a nephew.

It was Joe's request not to have a memorial service. He really didn't like a fuss.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
